Caritas Shqiptar implementon programin në zonat e prekura nga tërmeti i 26 Nëntorit 2019. Ky program mundësohet nga bashkëpunimi me partnerët: Caritas Network dhe Habitat for Humanity.
Dje, me praninë e Monsinjor Angelo Massafra, Monsinjor Arjan Dodaj dhe Kryetares së Bashkisë Kurbin, Znj. Majlinda Cara, u dorëzuan çelësat e banesës së re Z. Shkëlqim Lamaj, përfitues i programit të rindërtimit të Caritas Shqiptar.
Në fjalën e tij, Monsinjor Angelo Massafra, President i KISH dhe Caritas Shqiptar nënvizoi se: bashkëpunimi ndërmjet Caritas Shqiptar, Caritase-ve si motra, Habitat, Bashkisë Laç dhe firmës së ndërtimit janë faktorë në rindërtimin e banesave, cilësinë e punimeve, kohën e realizimit por edhe në transparencën ndaj partnerëve që i kanë besuar Caritas-it dhe Kishës katolike.
Monsinjor Arjan Dodaj, Arqipeshkv i Dioqezës Tiranë – Durrës, i dorëzoi familjes Lamaj çertifikatën e dhurimit të investimit dhe ritheksoi që Kisha Katolike nuk bën dallime fetare, por solidarizohet me nevojat e personave dhe dashuria prevalon.
Kryetarja e Bashkisë Kurbin , Znj Majlinda Cara, u shpreh që është e lumtur sepse falë këtij bashkëpunimi familja Lamaj do të kalojë Krishtlindjet dhe Vitin e Ri në banesën e re. Ajo theksoi faktin se investimi i Caritas Shqiptar ka shkuar për familjet më të margjinalizuara, ndërsa sot dorëzuam çelësat në familjen e parë, por janë në proces ndërtimi edhe 12 banesa të tjera.

Yesterday, in the presence of Monsignor Angelo Massafra, Monsignor Arjan Dodaj and the Mayor of Kurbin, Mrs. Majlinda Cara handed over the keys to the new apartment Mr. Shkëlqim Lamaj, beneficiary of the reconstruction program of Caritas Albania.
In his speech, Monsignor Angelo Massafra, President of KISH and Caritas Albania underlined that: cooperation between Caritas Albania, Caritas affiliates, Habitat, Laç Municipality and the construction company are factors in the reconstruction of houses, quality of works, time of completion but also in transparency to partners who have trusted Caritas and the Catholic Church.
Monsignor Arjan Dodaj, Archbishop of the Diocese of Tirana – Durres handed over to the Lamaj family the certificate of investment donation and re-emphasizes that the Catholic Church does not make religious differences, but shows solidarity with the needs of individuals and love prevails.
The Mayor of Kurbin, Mrs. Majlinda Cara said that she is happy that thanks to this cooperation the Lamaj family will spend Christmas and New Year in the new apartment. She underlined the fact that the investment of Caritas Albania has gone to the most marginalized families, whereas today we handed over the keys to the first family, but 12 more apartments are under construction.
